The Hang Mua viewpoint is located in the small northern city of Ninh Binh of Vietnam. Ninh Binh is affectionately known as the Ha Long Bay on land due to the massive limestone cliffs that dominate the city. From the top of the Hang Mua viewpoint you have panoramic views over Tam Coc which is by far one of the best vantage points in Ninh Binh!

Tips for Visiting Ninh Binh & the Hang Mua Viewpoint:
- You can easily reach Ninh Binh via a 2-3 hour bus journey from Hanoi
- Once you are in Ninh Binh the easiest way to get around is by motorbike. You can rent one from in town or through your hotel!
- It costs 100K dong ($4.30 USD) to enter the Hang Mua viewpoint area
- The best time to visit the viewpoint is during sunrise or sunset (it opens at 5:30 am and is much less crowded then)
- There are 500 steps to the top so wear proper shoes
- Make sure to see the stone carved dragon at the top of the highest peak!
- To reach the parking area type Nói Guì Xe Parking into your GPS

The shift from international travel to domestic tr The shift from international travel to domestic travel this year has forced many of us to get outside an explore nearby places that we might have overlooked in the past. It’s made me realize how much beauty there is to see in my own country and makes me excited to discover more places within the borders of the US one day.

Of course, like many others, I am waiting till it is safer to do so but knowing about these destinations has shone a new light on my expectations for future travel plans.

I was lucky enough to make it out to Oregon this fall and discovered some beautiful places along the coast in the Pacific Northwest!

The Top 5 Places to Visit Along the Oregon Coast are:
1. Ecola State Park
2. Indian Beach in Ecola State Park
3. Cannon Beach
4. Arcadia Beach
5. Hug Point State Park

What was your favorite local destination that you had the opportunity to visit this year that you might have otherwise overlooked?
