With only about four hours to spend in Miami, my girl friend and I had to make a decision. Do we spend half that time in traffic to hopefully get a glimpse of South Beach? Or do we wander the streets of the growingly popular, colorful Wynwood Arts District. Without hesitation we chose the latter.
Surprisingly, this was my first visit to Miami despite having grown up on the West Coast of Florida! The Wynwood Arts District is must visit during your time in this bustling seaside city. Full of color and life, it is a great place to wander around and visit the many boutique shops and restaurants!
The vibrant neighborhood is easily walkable but give yourself ample time here because there really is so much to see and do!

Nomad Tribe
These guys are all about recycling and reusing materials to create new clothing from up cycled textiles. With a strong focus on sustainability and ethical options, they are breaking free of fast fashion by creating a quality product that will last.
It’s important for us as consumers to start thinking about our impact on our environment when purchasing clothing. Nomad Tribe is working hard towards creating clothing that you will not only love for many years but that will also be helping the planet.
Their clothing is beautiful and the fabrics are all made from soft 100% cotton. If you want to recycle your unwanted clothes you can either drop it off in the store or mail it in.
That’s a win win!

This eclectic shop caught my eye almost immediately. Inside you’ll find tons of brightly colored home decor, clothing, jewelry, books and more!
They have a fun selection of printed mens bathing suits and shirts which seem to match the brightly colored graffiti walls just outside the door.
