One of Italy’s most delicious traditions happens every fall in the heart of Piedmont! 🇮🇹🍄

The International White Truffle Fair in Alba is an annual celebration of one of the rarest and most expensive ingredients in the world: the coveted white truffle.

For almost 100 years (96 to be exact), this festival has brought together food lovers, truffle hunters, and local producers to celebrate the region’s prized delicacy. We even saw some white truffles for sale for €5,200 per kg making a single truffle more than €500!

You can sample and shop for fresh truffles, taste local wines, watch cooking demonstrations, and even play medieval-style carnival games where you can win bottles of wine!

Alba is also the birthplace of Nutella, making this medieval Italian town a must stop!

We got to experience it all thanks to @laggiu_viaggi , who organized this experience and helped us discover one of Alba’s most beloved annual traditions.

Would you believe that the oldest pharmacy in the WORLD is hiding right here in Florence, Italy? 🇮🇹

Dating back to 1221, this stunning pharmacy was originally founded by Dominican friars. Today, you can wander through its beautifully preserved rooms filled with historic frescoes, perfumes, soaps, and other products.

The perfumes smell incredible and I picked up two when I was there: Angeli di Firenze and Cinquanta.
